Pongo de Manique

In Vilcabamba Valley, a deep canyon is dug by water running from Urubamba River base. The current is quite strong, but the canyon descent is available with a small boat-pirogue, driven by local people. Once rapids passed, you accede to very isolated communities and that gives all meaning to this strong in adrenalin expedition.
